SIR DADDY D

Sir Daddy D first began to show interest in music at the age of 10 years. Whilst in his Mum's front room he
used to play records (vinyl) on the gramophone by artists such as Alton Ellis, Uroy, U Brown, Charlie Chaplin and Gregory Isaacs to name but a few.



His interest in music continued to develop and his first break into the music world occurred whilst walking down the street one day and seeing people carrying sound boxes. With his inquisitive nature he had to ask them what they were doing and where they were going. They invited him along to see what was happening to which he agreed.

This subsequently led to him picking up the microphone and thus began his entry into the life of a Mic DJ with Youthman Highpower Sound System, and gaining notoriety in the music world. Having been away from the music business for around 4 years Sir Daddy D made a return with his newly formed sound Champayne Bubblers 90's alongside Preacher Don and Sugar Dread. The Sound exploded onto the sound system scene by supporting legendary music greats like Dennis Brown, John Holt and Gregory Isaac and to this day is still going strong.

  Sir Daddy D has an overwhelming thirst for life and a hunger to achieve and to offer opportunities to others particularly those artists just starting out in the music world. Matched with his non exhaustive level of energy it was inevitable that his new project would follow his progression in developing his ever growing knowledge and skills base and evolve into the music distribution and internet world. This has now evolved into the Reggae 4 Us website.
